A working meeting was held with Patricia Espinosa, Executive Secretary of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

The UNFCCC confirms that it will fully support the Ecumene 2022 Forum. During the meeting, the parties agreed to continue work with the Secretariat with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.

Active dialogue and work on joint projects with the Convention on Biological Diversity and the UN Convention to Combat Desertification continue. Also, both sides confirmed their intentions to hold three discussion sessions at the 27th Session of the Conference on Climate Change (UNFCCC COP 27) in Sharm el-Sheikh.
