The financial market of Russia remains dynamic, with a large resource of technology and innovation potential. There is an active discussion of new initiatives, including those related to the issuance of digital financial assets, the use of the digital ruble and cryptocurrencies. Innovation in the financial market is not only the development of the domestic market, but also an opportunity for co-operation with our international partners. During the discussion, we propose to identify the key trends in FinTech development, as well as the challenges and opportunities facing the industry.
The following issues are planned to be covered during the discussion session:
- What are the most promising technologies being implemented and will be introduced in the Russian financial market that can become a technological basis for use by friendly countries?
- How can financial technology help build new economic ties, including those with the BRICS countries?
- What are the opportunities and risks of using CFAs, central bank digital currencies and cryptocurrency to solve business challenges?
