The Russian Federation has a huge territory, unique natural potential, as well as scientific and technological resources. In this regard, we believe it is necessary to continue the economic system development that distributes risks between business and the state on the basis of synergy and becomes an example for the rest of the world in creating a unified system of sustainable development; to improve the necessary legal framework and remain the leader of the world community in promoting universal values, using ecology, nature and technology as our key strategic advantage.
Currently, the Ecumene: Global Financial Forum has become an authoritative platform for discussing key issues of long-term sustainable development of the world economy, harmonizing, and improving the financial agenda, developing new approaches to the implementation of the main objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement and the Kunming-Montreal Biodiversity Framework. The results of the Ecumene 2023 will be presented on December 7, 2023 in Dubai, UAE, on the margins of the 28th Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change, and sent to the UN Secretary-General, the Russian Government and the President of the Russian Federation.
Further work will continue in the framework of the Ecumene Discussion Club, several round tables of which will be held in March 2024 at the UN office in Geneva, Switzerland.
