On the margins of ECUMENE 2022, a Memorandum of Understanding between the International and Comparative Law Research Center and the Bahrain Center for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat) was signed by the heads of the thinks tanks, Ekaterina Salugina-Sorokovaya and H. E. Dr. Hamad Ebrahim Al-Abdulla, respectfully.

Among the areas of mutual interest, they identified, inter alia, Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Energy Transition, Public International Law, Dispute Resolution, E-commerce / Digital Trade, COVID-19 and its consequences, National Economic and Business regulations.

The centers agreed to collaborate in various directions, including research, organizing events, exchange visits of research scholars, academic materials, and best practice research, promotion of capacity building.
